FAQs

How long does a website build take?

Typical brochure-stye website projects run across two to three months from kick-off to launch. That includes discovery, design, build, testing and handover. More complex sites might take longer but we'll agree a clear timeline at the start so you know what to expect and when.

Will we be able to update the site ourselves after launch?

Yes – easy content management is one of the main reasons we recommend the Webflow CMS. We'll run a training session before handover so your team can make day-to-day updates confidently without needing to call us every time.

How much does a website project typically cost?

Website projects typically start at £10–13k. The main factors that affect the final figure are the number of pages, complexity of the design, how much copywriting or image creation is needed, and any advanced functionality – things like membership areas, booking systems or third-party integrations. We'll scope it properly before giving you a clear figure.

Do we need to sort our brand out before building a new website?

Not necessarily – but it helps. A website built on clear brand foundations performs better than one that isn't. If you're not ready for a full brand project, we can bring brand thinking into the website process itself – and we can always come back to the brand side in the future when the time is right. We'll tell you honestly what we think when we talk.

Do you do the copy as well, or just the design?

Most of our projects include some level of copywriting support – at minimum we'd recommend letting us handle the key messages, headlines, calls to action and SEO-focused copy, as these have a real impact on how well the site performs. You're welcome to provide copy for the rest, or bring your own writer, but we'll always be honest if we think something needs reworking before it goes live.
